James L. "Jimmy" Kirksey is a senior organizational leader and human resources professional with 20+ years of experience leading people, managing personnel operations, and improving organizational readiness in the U.S. and abroad. Jimmy began his career in the U.S. Marine Corps in 1996 before transitioning to the U.S. Army, specializing in human resources and organizational leadership.

Jimmy has held positions of increasing responsibility in workforce management, employee services, training and development, compliance, inspections, executive advising, international security cooperation, and disability case administration. He has led personnel programs, advised senior executives, managed sensitive records, and enabled high performance in high-pressure environments.

His assignments span Oklahoma, Washington, California, Kentucky, Texas, Alaska, Germany, South Korea, and Canada, with overseas operations support in Kuwait and Iraq. Jimmy brings extensive experience in cross-cultural coordination and stakeholder engagement in demanding environments.

He holds a B.S. in Management from Post University and an M.A. in Leadership Studies from UTEP. His professional development includes advanced leadership, organizational training, Inspector General, security cooperation, hazmat transportation, emergency response, and executive-level preparation.

His honors include the Legion of Merit, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, and the Adjutant General’s Corps Robert L. Manning Achievement Medal.

A native of Alexandria, Virginia, Jimmy resides with his wife, Michele, and daughter, Cecilia.
